Community Update – NO Residents with COVID-19

Residents, Families and Partners,

We want to thank you for your support as we face all the continued changes associated with this virus.  As promised, we wanted to provide you an update.

Since our last update, we have had no current residents nor any other prior residents diagnosed with COVID-19.

Since receiving the notice outlined in our previous update of a prior resident having a positive COVID-19 finding, out of an abundance of caution, we took the step to have our staff members tested for COVID-19.  We are happy to report none of our staff had a positive finding.

However, we continue to take all heightened infection control measures outlined in our previous update including daily monitoring of residents and staff for signs and symptoms, and, as usual, monitoring residents for any other changes in condition. We will, of course, notify residents’ primary physicians and designated family members of any changes in their loved one’s condition, whether potentially related to COVID-19 or not.

Restricted visitation, multiple daily cleanings and other steps recommended by the CDC and the local health department remain in place until we are guided otherwise.
